Randal will be at the Arvada Center in Denver April 16 to May 16, 2010, starring as Guido in "Nine."

Randal will be adding the role of Joseph Buguet in Phantom of the Opera beginning October, 2009.

Randal will be on as Piangi for five shows, September 23, 24, 25 and two shows on September 26, 2009, in Phantom of the Opera in Las Vegas.

Beginning the first week of August, 2009, Randal will be going into Phantom of the Opera  in Las Vegas. His ankle isn't up to anything too physical, but he will be understudying Piangi, which is one of the roles he has never performed in this long running musical.

Randal has won the Colorado Theatre guild's Fourth Annual Henry Award for Best Musical Actor.  The Les Misérables production practically swept the field.

2008 Denver Post Ovation Awards -- Randal received the 2008 Denver Post Ovation Award for best Musical  actor for his performance as Jean Valjean at the Arvada Center.

Randal being whisked away by ambulance after a fall during the first matinee performance of Les Misérables at the Arvada Center.  He slipped on a puddle of water from the fog machine as he ran from the stage after stealing the Bishop's silver.  I guess it goes to show that crime does not pay after all.  After surgery, 12 pins and a metal plate, Randal will be off the stage for probably six months for recuperation and extensive physical therapy.  Good to see that even with the excruciating pain, he could still smile for the camera.

Randal will be reprising his role as Jean Valjean at the Arvada center just outside of Denver, CO in their production of Les Misérables in the fall of 2008. Spamalot will be closing in Las Vegas on July 19, 2008

Randal has been nominated for the 2007 LA Stage Alliance Ovation Award for Featured Actor in a Musical for his performance in Man of La Mancha at the Rubicon Theatre in Ventura, CA.

Randal will be taking over the role of King Arthur in Spamalot at the Wynn Casino, Grail Theatre, Las Vegas, for four months commencing September 28, 2007, through January 27, 2008.

Unless something unexpected happens, Randal will be performing as King Arthur in Spamalot at the Wynn, Las Vegas, casino theatre, May 21st and 22nd  2007.

December 6, 2006, Randal announced he is heading for Las Vegas to appear in the Las Vegas production of "Spamalot" in the role of Sir Bedevere and understudy for King Arthur.  The production will open in April, 2007.   Randal actually is going to be able to go home to his own bed each night.  After so many years on the road, it will be a real change.

The producers of Les Misérables have announced that the Broadway Touring Company will close with the final show of the season, July 23, 2006, at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis, Missouri. 

Because of the hurricane damage in New Orleans, the Les Misérables run in New Orleans has been cancelled.  However, the only good news out of this is that the run in Toronto has been extended for two weeks, moving to the Canon Theatre on Victoria Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada,  those last two weeks.

Randal has announced  he has contracted to continue appearing as Jean Valjean in the Broadway Tour throughout the United States and into Canada until July, 2006.

Jean Valjean Touring Car for sale.  Randal is selling his 1990 Mazda Miata  red convertible which has traveled with him on tour since he started with Les Misérables. The last performance of Les Misérables' 2003/2004 season was on June  27, 2004, in St. Paul.  Randal immediately shaved the distinctive JVJ beard and headed home to Southern California to join Karen and the menagerie for a well deserved summer break.

Randal's CD, "Life has Been Good to Me" was released May 18, 2004, appropriately while he was performing in  North Carolina.  Be sure to go to the Home page to see the song list and instructions for ordering.

RANDAL IS  IN THE STUDIO RECORDING!  While LM is in Philadelphia, Randal is using his "spare" time to be in the studio recording a CD which is tentatively scheduled for be released sometime in May.  Check back for release information, including a chance to pre-order with a very special bonus.

Randal is pleased to announce that he rejoined the National Tour of Les Misérables  when it opened its 2003-2004 season  in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 9, 2003.  He  grew  his Jean Valjean beard back!

After years of wearing the Jean Valjean beard, between the last performance of Les Misérables and the closing cast party, Randal shaved the beard.   He was a stranger that night at stage door.
