As many of you know, I broke my ankle in six places October, 2008, while performing in Les Misérables at the Arvada Center. It has been a long, slow recovery, and I am still not 100%. Doing any work for very long can be painful, but I refuse to let that stop me. Beginning the first week of August, 2009, I started in Phantom of the Opera here in Las Vegas. I was on the First National Tour from 1990 to 1996, so it has been awhile, and I am happy to be going back to this magnificent musical.
My ankle isn't up to anything too physical, but I will be understudying Piangi, which is one of the roles I have not done, and will also be playing Joseph Buguet, so I am very excited about that.
I am back in Denver at the Arvada Center performing as Guido in "Nine" April 16 – May 16, 2010. Details will be at www.arvadacenter.org.
After a very bad year, I am looking forward to moving ahead and hope to see you all on the way.
P.S. - Check out the fan web site
As some of you know, Jean Hastings is my webmaster, and she has long wanted to bring some opportunities to fans that didn't seem appropriate for this site, so she has published www.randalkeith.net, where, to quote her, "Randal's fans can go play." Be sure to check it out for more fan photos, ecards, guestbook and other things Jean assures me a fan will love.
